September 29th, 2007
Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine
Our 7th annual "Walk for the Whisper" was another record-breaking event and as inspirational as ever! The weather was absolutely perfect,
we had the most beautiful setup ever thanks to Fun Factory Events and Ken Thornton, our incredible volunteers, and phenomenal participants -
our best ever!
As always we want to thank all of the wonderful volunteers who helped throughout the Walk, including a special thank
you to our Members who volunteered and to the volunteers from the National Charities League! Without our
volunteers this would not have been possible!
We also want to thank once again the Runnin' On Faith group for not only providing incredible music, and once again moving us all to
tears during the survivor tribute but also for helping out during the entire event. You were truly inspirational as always, gentlemen!
Our Walk Director, Kirsten Golly, did her usual phenomenal job in pulling everything together and keeping it all running smoothly. The behind-
the-scenes effort needed in an event like this is hard to imagine and Kirsten really does an unbelievable job putting this together for us!
This year Fun Factory Events again put up amazing banners and the start/finish lines and new this year they contributed the beautiful signs
above all the tents and special tables, chairs, etc around the booths and particularly in the Linda Thornton Memorial Tent and the
Survivors Tent. Ken Thornton and Fun Factory Events have really helped us take this event to the next level and we cannot possibly
thank them enough!
And, of course, a big resounding thanks to all our sponsors! Be sure to check out our Sponsors
Page and support our sponsors!
PURCHASING PHOTOS
In 2007 we had Tim Hill Photography who did a great job of getting candid and team photos throughout the event.
These are available on the internet to view and purchase. A portion of the
proceeds goes back to the NOCC. You can see those photos by going to the website of the professional photographer at
www.TimHillPhotography.com.
Below are some of the amateur photographs from the Walk.
