The DFW Ovarian Cancer Group is
a group of ovarian cancer survivors,
family, friends, and co-workers, all
of whom are interested in helping to
raise awareness and promote education
about ovarian cancer. By supporting one
another and volunteering with other
ovarian cancer organizations, the
DFW Ovarian Cancer Group strives
to make a difference in our community.
A number of our volunteers and survivors have regular (usually monthly) get-togethers at area restaurants.
These are informal gatherings, "just for the fun of it", and are an absolute blast! Frequently these groups
end up closing down the place they talk so long! Laughter, tears, friendships, and food - what more
can you ask for!
The best way to keep up with upcoming Meet & Eats is the e-groups emails (if you aren't on the e-groups,
contact Sharon at duffymgr@medicalcitydallas.com). These tend to come up
quickly and the restaurants change monthly but we try to keep up with them on this page as well.
There are multiple groups meeting, because we have such a large metroplex to cover. Although they are
designated by the locale, anyone is welcome at any meeting. In order to prepare the restaurants for the
number, we need RSVPs. If you want to attend one of these, send an email via the e-groups or, if you don't belong
to the e-groups yet, to Sharon at duffymgr@medicalcitydallas.com.
